This is the official Justice For Chunky Campaign page. Maxine Berry is the owner of this page and she is the individual who started the Justice for Chunky petition in November 2015 and now has over 550,000 signatures. Her goal is creation of an animal abuse register for the United Kingdom. As a result of her work creating the petition, the help of her husband Brian, and the support of others the petition was submitted to DEFRA in March 2016 for review and by working with her MP, DEFRA also asked for the vision of the register.Since November 2015, Maxine has spent many tireless hours with her husband speaking about the register and promoting it. In March 2017 their tireless effort paid off when their work with the Green Party led to the Green Party adopting the animal abuse register as their policy. Now, with the general election on 8 June 2017, it is important those who support the animal abuse register make their voices heard. The register is possible with your continued support. This page is dedicated to getting the law changed for the creation of a national database of animal abusers.
